It is very important as per HSE guidelines that all face fit testing of respiratory protective equipment (RPE) is undertaken by a competent person, and all tests require the delegate to be clean shaven so that the face mask can create an actual face seal to allow the most suitable mask for the wearer that fits correctly to be selected.
