The combination gas filter for the Sundström SR 500 and SR 500 EX powered respirator systems provides protection against organic vapours with boiling points above 65°C as well as inorganic vapours, acid gases, ammonia, dust, fumes and oil/water-based mists.
Whilst the SR 599 filter is reusable for multiple shifts the maximum use time for mercury vapour protection is 50 hours.
